Teen Classes & Programs

Cedarburg Art Museum (CAM) offers diverse adult classes and programs. Participants can enjoy yoga sessions in the sculpture garden, create artwork at monthly Sip and Paint events, and engage with local artists through demonstrations and conversations about the museum’s permanent collection.

Teen Sketch

Join us on a Thursday evening of every month (November-May) to participate alongside local artists and enjoy innovative and engaging art programs that encourage middle and high school students to express themselves creatively, develop new skills, make friends, and explore art in a whole new way. Every participant receives an art kit to use throughout the year! Register for this free student experience below and we look forward to Fall as we launch a new year of classes!

Teen Exhibition

art by teens, curated by teens

Participants in our Teen Sketch program are encouraged to create a piece, under the direction of a professional artist, in Spring to exhibit in an exhibition curated by their peers. Teen participants will experience the same process and theme as our professional juried show that takes place at the same time.

Submissions will be reviewed by a peer juror, and chosen pieces will be exhibited in the SAM (Student Art Matters) studio from June-August of each year. What an incredible experience for budding artists to experience and participate in their very own juried exhibition! Cash prizes will be awarded based on criteria developed by the panel. Stay tuned for details!
