Ephemeral Florals takes a look at the presence of flowers within artworks from the Cedarburg Art Museum’s permanent collection. Flowers have long served as inspiration for artists, appearing in a variety of forms and media. This exhibition honors the tradition of flower painting while also examining the legacy of the flower as popular subject matter throughout time.

Curator Nikki Ranney will host a lecture on the history of the flower as a muse on August 12th at 5:30pm.
